I second this. Slack notifications are extremely noisy and random emoji each time makes it very difficult to skim through a page of notifications.

Hi all, there's now an option for that which is through Zapier (we just added native Zapier integration): https://updown.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1911991

Using this you can connect a Slack channel and receive simplified one-line text only alerts if you prefer.
