Feature Requests Group identical domain suffixes when ordering lexically

Right now I have about 20 subdomains across 3 top-level domains.
The current "domain-suffix-oblivious" lexical ordering is kind of a mess.
I really wish all my "hexstreamsoft.com" subdomains were grouped together, and same thing for my "hexstream.net" and "hexstream.xyz" subdomains separately. Right now those are all "randomly" jumbled up together based on the lexical order of their lowest subdomain components.

Interesting, as an alternative currently you could define aliases on your checks which mention the top level first and subdomain after (ex: "hexstreamsoft / mail") to have this kind of ordering.
Not a useful alternative for me, because I absolutely want aliases to be just the full domain name, which I definitely want the display name of the check to be (notably visible on individual status pages), and which is useful for scripting purposes (notably from my custom status page).
Or better, allow users to define their preferred order... perhaps regexp shoud allow this?
