FAQ  〉Is it possible to change the expected HTTP response code?

Yes it is possible to expect a different status code (or a string presence) using the "Contains" field. A small tooltip on focus gives more details:

If you type a number between 100 and 599 here, it'll be considered as an HTTP status code instead of string, and will only match against the HTTP responses status code (not the body). Updown will still follow 3xx redirections (unless they match the expected status code) until it finds the expected HTTP status code.
