Documentation Integration with Slack

updown.io provides a simple integration with Slack which sends up and down alerts in real time to the channel of your choosing:

Connect with Slack

To set it up, simply go to your settings page and click on "Connect a channel" in the alert channels section:

That'll take you to the Slack website to authorize the connection and choose a channel:

Validate and you're done ☺
You'll be redirected back to the updown.io website and will receive a test message in your Slack channel:

Disconnect

To stop the connection, go back to your settings page at any time and simply click the — button in the alert channels section.
